This scheme offers the residents of Barrhill Community Council area the opportunity to improve the comfort of their homes by making them more energy efficiency, warmer and cheaper to run. By taking advantage of the funding on offer, measures such as insulation, air source heat pumps, solar PV panels, storage batteries and EV chargers can be installed at a fraction of the normal price.

It's been over a year since the Barrhill Greener Homes team came together to develop and rollout the scheme! In that time we've had over 60 sign-ups, 20 drop-in sessions and 15% of homes have already completed their Greener Homes journey with many more on their way!

Now we've reached the year mark we are evaluating the scheme and thought it would be the perfect time to bring the community together to reflect on the learnings and achievements of Barrhill Greener Homes.

What to expect at the event

Join the full Barrhill Greener Homes team (BCIC, BDT, Scottish Power and Hubbub) to celebrate the project and share your reflections on Barrhill Greener Homes with snacks and prizes!

There will also be the opportunity to hear from other residents on their experiences and receive independent energy advice from Home Energy Scotland. Save the date
