From October some households could be eligible for up to £20,000 towards home improvement as part of the Community Benefit Fund. This fund is provided to communities near wind farms to invest in local projects and people. Barrhill residents voted to put some funds towards helping households become warmer, more energy-efficient, and save money in the long run.
